The structure for the 2024-25 season will be similar to the 2023-24 format with a few adjustments.

• Season Start: Friday, October 18, 2024
• Regular Season: Teams will play a set number of regular season games during the season. The regular season does not impact playoff schedules unless stipulated. 
• Playoff/Provincial Qualifying Round: games listed as playoffs are also provincial qualifying
• Playoff/Provincial Qualifying Round Deadline: Unless otherwise stipulated (pending HNS Provincial qualifying document) all divisions should have the playoff round completed no later than March 2nd with semi-final and championship games completed no later than March 7 (Friday before march Break).

  • HNS Day of Champions: April 5-6, 2025
  • U15-AA Provincials: April 3-6, 2025
  • U18-AA Provincials: April 3-6, 2025

• NOTES
  • All regular season games and provincial qualifying games will be posted to the league site immediately so games can be rescheduled fluidly throughout the season. This means that teams may play a provincial qualifying and regular season games anytime during the season.
  • The goal is for teams to play 30 games but this may not be possible depending on division size. 
  • Last year there was a CMHL playoff round scheduled after March Break. This will not happen for 2024-25.
